About Me
I've been an Ubuntu user since Warty where I took the jump after dual booting between Debian and Windows for a while, and never looked back (never needed to either).
I have been active in the Ubuntu community for over a year in every possible way my time and experience has allowed me.
I live in Argentina and currently run a web development company oriented towards open source.

Accomplishments = == Summary =
 * Started using Ubuntu on day one of the 4.10 release
 * Picked up the Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter and was the editor for a year and a half
 * Founded the Argentina LoCo (which is still super active!)
 * Created ubuntustats.com (now sort of abandoned)
 * In the Ubuntu Membership Board for Americas (on my second term!)

I have successfully founded and currently lead the Argentina LoCo team, with which we have accomplished a lot in translations (UWN's and Rosetta), support a large amount of spanish speaking users in Ubuntuforums and introduced many new users to Ubuntu. The Argentina LoCo is probably what takes up most of my time. == History of me in Ubuntu ==
I got into Ubuntu through Debian. I had jumped from distro to distro for a while and fell in love with apt, making Debian my distro of choice. When Ubuntu 4.10 came out with the concept of "Debian, but for humans", I knew that was where I wanted to be so I jumped over on day 1.

Created and moderating the Argentina sub-forum in Ubuntuforums

Created and moderating the mailing list

I'm actively helping out in the MarketingTeam with php coding for the DIY webpage (and eventually spreadubuntu), getting the UbuntuWeeklyNewsletter, out every week, and generally trying to pitch in wherever needed.

I've help put together the Herd release information: http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/herd2, http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/herd3 and http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/herd4

I also handle the Ubuntu Stickers distribution in Argentina which System76 provides, sending them all over the country and making sure big projects that use Ubuntu get the stickers and LiveCDs to distribute. I have also sent them to Chile and Spain LoCo's.

Translations to Spanish (official Spanish Translator) and some Wiki pages to Spanish.
Working together with the ubuntu-es team to get a proper setup for documentation in Spanish available.

The thing I probably enjoyed the most is introducing users to Ubuntu, mainly non-Linux users by installing it on their systems and walking them through the adaptation process until they get used to the new environment.
I take notes on what problems users bump into and try to get the message through to developers via the forums, IRC or bug tracking.
I started helping out in different places in the community almost immediately, started off in the Ubuntu Marketing team where I revived the defunct Ubuntu Weekly Newsletter and was the editor of it for a year and a half.
I also founded the Argentina LoCo team, which has now turned into a vibrant local community thanks to many other people.
Following that I worked on some related projects like Launchpad and Bazaar, and moved on to roles more related to leadership.
Two years ago I joined the Regional Membership board for the Americas and served out my 2 year term and have recently been renewed.

Currently Working On
 * Making the Argentina LoCo team grow as much and as healthy as possible, and eventually get it officially approved.
 * Getting the MarketingTeam web sites ready to go live.
 * Learning bazaar to help develop and implement it in various areas.
 * Playing around with the latest "in production" Ubuntu (feisty at the moment) to help squash bugs before release and help users get through the upgrade process easier.
 * Releasing the UWN every week.
 * Translating in Rosetta
