- Close Thunderbird:
- Launch Seahorse:
- New PGP Key:
- Enter a passphrase:
- Generate Key:
Step 4: Syncing a PGP key to Ubuntu servers
- Sync key:
Step 5: Importing the PGP key fingerprint on Launchpad
- Copy fingerprint:
- Import PGP key on Launchpad:
- Wait, if necessary:
Step 6: Setup Thunderbird to use your keys (enigmail)
- Enigmail wizard:
- Select Identities:
- Use per-recipient rules:
- Improvements:
- Select key:
Step 7: Opening Launchpad's Encrypted Message
- Open Message:
- Enter passphrase:
Step 8: Confirming Key
- Confirm OpenPGP key:
- Check that key was accepted by Launchpad:
Step 9: Download Ubuntu CoC, Sign and Upload it
- Access the Ubuntu CoC page
- Download the CoC
- Sign it
- Upload it
