The RIT Student Innovation Center is holding a Software Freedom Day event. The NYS Ubuntu Local Community supplied plenty of Ubuntu CDs and other swag items. Remy and cprofitt had a lengthy conversation on how to advocate for more FOSS in Rochester. The Student Innovation Center and the NYS Ubuntu Local Community have agreed to work together to produce events for both students and the public.
