About Me

I'm a student of Computer Applications. I was exposed to Fedora Linux a few years back and liked it. I moved to Ubuntu a year after I bought my laptop (2008). I've used Ubuntu from Hardy and I love it. Now, I have joined the Ubuntu Community to help spread the word and help new users.

Team Membership

Ubuntu Learning Team - I'm part of the Ubuntu Learning Team and I coordinate with the team and help create new material.
Bug Squad - I'm part of the Bug Squad and help triage bugs often.
Beginners Team - I'm an aspiring member (Padawan) of the Beginners Team coordinate helping new members through IRC and and Forums.

• Wiki Focus Group - With the help of the Beginners Team, I have been able to be active in the Wiki Focus Group in editing the Ubuntu Wiki.
  Launchpad Focus Group - Help answering questions on Launchpad.

Completely revamped the Swap FAQ.
Working on a Bazaar Learning Module for the Learning Team.

Future Plan

Contribute actively to Ubuntu Learning Team.

• Develop asciidoc materials for the Team.
  Develop on the Moodle Platform the team has implemented.
  Lead IRC Classroom sessions for the Ubuntu Learning Team.

Learn Python and join with the Beginners Team Dev FG in developing OSS applications in Ubuntu.
Coordinate with the Ubuntu India Loco and the Learning Team.
Contribute to the Documentation Team and the Wiki FG when possible.
Be a part of the MOTU (distant).
Help with marketing Ubuntu.
