Welcome
We are the North Carolina Ubuntu Local Community Team, a group of Linux enthusiasts with the common goal of interacting and spreading the word about Ubuntu throughout the state. We are open to all forms of participation from advocacy to support.
Purpose
- To promote Ubuntu and its various flavors throughout the area.
- To provide support to fellow members
- To create a community through which participants can exchange ideas and goals.
Road Map
The wiki will detail our future goals in NC for advocacy and support.
Projects
- Goal to correspond with AAFES (Army and Airforce Exchange Service) to see what action items are needed to allow Ubuntu CD's to be placed the facilities in North Carolina and to the greater extent all AAFES facilities.
- Use Linux Fest, BARCamp's and other events to promote the Ubuntu Project,Community, and Spirit.
