you need synce 9.1; it build well on Hoary; you have to load ipaq module with modprobe ipaq vendor=0x045e product=0x00ce; italians can find help at http://www.montellug.it/wiki/index.php/Connetti_PDA_Con_Linux |

synce builds well on Hoary, once the appropriate -dev packages are installed. Likewise, multisync. I built own due to wanting sync over bluetooth. |

Able to get everything to auto load in Kubuntu. Raki will auto detect if set up correctly. Had trouble with auto detect in gnome. |

Gpilot needs to be manually stopped and restarted each time you want to sync. Evolution backup conduit crashes the sync. Evolution calendar conduit seems to be working (no crash) but after the first sync, there is no change on the palm on next syncs. Evolution has trouble handling multiple calendars. |

Gpilot won't work no matter what. From what I can track down, it's a code issue. Newer Clies need their vendor and product IDs hardcoded in gpilotd.c and then recompiled. |

Everything seems to work OK, sometimes, the Evolution tasks conduit messes up resulting in loss of tasks on the pilot and/or the insertion of thousands of empty tasks (fixed by selecting 'copy-to-pilot'). |

Sync works fine with Evolution and installing files. The Data Import flash-drive feature for the memory stick automounts but the connection is lost frequently making it unusuable. |

NOT WORKING. Sync doesn't work at all. Device is recognized as a usb-keyboard. The device Send feature works as it should, sending text to an open application as long as the keyboard layout is Qwerty. Dvorak users will need to toggle to Qwerty before sending text. |

Might not be a bad idea to add OS Version for Palm OS based devices. It will give us a better idea which versions need work.
I second the idea of adding OS version. If a space is made or a standard for posting it communicated I'll add the info to my entry.
OS Version section added, have fun
