Tester's comment: on virtualbox...

the installation works correctly. but when the system restart the computer jams with the written "kubuntu" blocked on the screen.

I had tried to restart for three times and the problem is always the same one

Tester's comment: Tested on Virtualbox OSE 3.1.6 on Lucid 64 bits, after have finish to select the config in the installer and start to install, it open a grey windows and hang on . No more menu, task work, so i must close the VM directly to quit

Tester's comment: i was installing it on a virtual box 15GB dynamically expanding hard drive and it quit on InstallStepError Configure plugins()

Tester's comment: Everything else, including auto registration worked as expected. The bug is in actually being able to start an instance.

Tester's comment: Telling update-manager to look for normal instead of LTS allows it to see Maverick. However, still a failure because Metacity is broken and the desktop is quite unstable and unusable after opening a single large app (like firefox or OO.o)

1: The post-upgrade test item: "Open the Example Documents and play the "Experience ubuntu.ogg" and see if that playing works" Needs to be changed. The current example content does not contain this (looked in /usr/share/example-content)

2: ubuntu desktop is glitchy.
