About Me

My real name is Tim. I live on Long Island in New York. For years i have been into computing in some way or another, recently switching to linux from XP. I have been a pure linux user for about 2 years now and i have enjoyed every moment of it! Ubuntu is my distro of choice and always will be. I am a computer science major at Farmingdale State University. I enjoy spending down time working on my computers and helping people where i can, both online and in person.

As far as my contributions go, i am always on the Ubuntu forums. I don't miss a day logging in and making it my goal to help at least one person. I am familiar with Launchpad bugs as well as i have submitted them. I have also helped my friends in person when they run into difficulties at home or at work. I am a member of the New York LoCo Team and the Ubuntu Bug Squad. I am also a donating member at Linux.com

Whenever my friends or family have me working on their computers i always suggest Ubuntu as an alternative OS. Some are not familiar and rather stick with windows. Some, however, make the leap and have me install Ubuntu for them. Of course given enough time they soon grow to love it. I promote the Ubuntu OS whenever i get the chance!
