Current Issues
The standard GSPCA driver with hardy, does not support the webcam and generates alot of error messages (behind the gui).
All tests are done with the gspca module blacklisted.
echo "blacklist gspca" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
One case, where the wlan interface would not work after resume from hibernation. Could not reproduce.
System Info
system-manufacturer: Acer, inc.
system-product-name: TravelMate 4220
Hardware details
Following results are only tested with the opensource ati driver (not the binary fglrx driver, required for 3D acceleration). This may have an affect on hibernation as well as graphics related tests.

Notes
==== Optimal audio input settings (Hardy)==== For Skype, eg.
(Based on danish audio device names)
Output:
"Mikrofon" ("Microphone") - Mic volume, set to 100%
"Mic Boost" - Mic boost, set to 100%
Input:
"Optage" ("Capture") - Seems to be input boost. Enabled, but at 0%
"Digital" - Input microphone volume. Enabled, 100%
no direct rendering with standard ati driver (1)
Although volume unit names are very confusing (2)
Some issues on resume from hibernation and the kill switch if turned off on boot (3)
backlight restored on any key press (4)
How can you tell? (5)
No builtin bluetooth, but the button is still usable (6)
Not set to anything, but useable in gnome-keybindings-properties (7 8)
??? (9)
