What is good software to manage a classroom of Ubuntu computers:

Description: There are various tasks involved in managing a ComputerLab. However, these tasks are reduced if one uses ThinClients. As a teacher I need to be able to

• see any students desktop from mine, allowing me to sole or shared control of the student's computer.
• very easily text with individuals as needed
• copying files to and from a user's desktop on the fly
• list view of applications currently active on student sessions
• list of computer hardware specs.
