Installation

Follow the steps to set up SafeStrap Recovery. Reboot into Recovery and set up RomSlot 4 with a 2GB data partition. Install the latest daily snapshot of ubuntu rootfs http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-touch-preview/daily-preinstalled/current/quantal-preinstalled-phablet-armhf.zip followed by the phablet image and reboot.

Unlocking instructions

Motorola devices have a locked bootloader so custom ROMs are installed using SafeStrap Recovery. Details on it's use can be found here http://blog.hash-of-codes.com/how-to-safestrap/

Known issues

  • No camera atm, needs kernel driver update
  • Video codecs need debugging (black screen) domx is crashing
