Notice of security breach on Ubuntu Forums site

Jane Silber writes that there has been a security breach on the Ubuntu Forums site, ubuntuforums.org. She explains what has happened and says that Canonical is working with software providers to address how the attackers were able to gain access. Jane also says Canonical has begun the process of notifying all users whose details were compromised by email and apologizes “for the breach and ensuing inconvenience.”

Canonical has announced the newest member of Ubuntu Carrier Advisory Group is MTN Group, Africa’s largest multinational mobile telecoms provider. MTN operates in 21 countries across the region and has a significant number of business customers benefiting from Ubuntu’s convergence and security capabilities.

razvi of iloveubuntu writes that there has been significant interest in Ubuntu 13.10's wallpaper submission process and notes that almost 200 wallpapers were submitted to Flickr in just a few days. razvi shows us a few examples and provides a link to the Saucy Salamander Wallpaper Submissions Group where all images submitted to be considered part of the Saucy Salamander release are posted.

Dota 2 Officially Released For Linux [Steam]
