This Week in Lubuntu Development #8
Simon Quigley blogs that while many fixes are blocked due to the in-progress Qt 5.11.1 transition, work continues on the desktop polish, infrastructure and project changes as a result of the "new direction" in the transition to the new environment. Thanks are given to UBports for the financial contributions that allow for the transition. Of note is the work done on Calamares, Lubuntu Seed, SDDM 0.18.0 and Lugito. Incoming bugs and those that are solved are listed and as well various links to support structures and the roadmap to Cosmic Cuttlefish's release cycle are given.
