Test Cases: Home Screen

Introduction

These cases are designed to track the features of the user interface on the Home Screen.

When executing these cases you must complete all the steps in each section before the cases status table can be updated. Partially completed cases should keep the information of the last build where the case was completed.

• Web component supports the following UI Elements:
  • URL
  • Search entry field with Go
  • Search buttons
  • Auto complete dropdown
  • Browser bookmarks dropdown (hierarchical)
  • Four graphical favorites thumbnails
  • Graphical thumbnail of target website
  • Rollover display of page title
  • Right­Click menu (open, clear, set shortcut, help)
  • “No content” display state

Media/Music UI Elements

• Non­Active State
• 1 Recent Album / Playlist Thumbnail,
• 2 Favorite Album/Playlist Thumbnails

• Rollover display of Artist & Album Name or Playlist Name

• Right-click menu on thumbnails (play, clear, assign content pop up, help)
• “No content” display state
• Active State
• Thumbnail of current or most recently played Album/Playlist

• Artist & Album Name /Playlist Name display

• Play/Pause button
• Back/Rewind button
• Next/Fast Forward button
• Volume Slider (music playback volume, not system volume)

Media/Photos UI Elements

• 3 Photo thumbnails, rotating content from a target folder each
• Rollover display of Folder Name
• Right‐click menus on thumbnails (clear, assign content popup, set as slideshow)
• “No content” display state
