I am a kernel engineer working on the 
Ubuntu Kernel Team at Canonical. I help maintain Ubuntu kernels as well as contribute to our testing and tooling efforts. My primary role is to facilitate the automation of kernel maintenance which requires a solid understanding of the Kernel team's SRU process. I received my Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech in 2018 and spent about 10 years working on proprietary embedded devices. During that time I was able to develop and open source a number of libraries for managing these devices as a way to give something back to the community.
My Ubuntu Story
I first discovered Ubuntu around 2007 when I was trying to repurpose a Compaq P400 to use for some coursework. I remember loading the ISO and everything just magically worked. Soon after, I started building my first lab using all the old hardware I could find at thrift stores. Ubuntu made it easy for me to learn basic networking which eventually led to my interest in programming.

I've reviewed and sponsored a total of 20 kernel packages prepared by Cory. I found them to be of good quality with nothing to complain about. From other projects we've both worked on I learned that he is very detail oriented and will ask for help or clarification if in doubt. I have no doubt that Cory will continue to produce high quality kernel packages and therefore recommend for Cory to receive per-package upload rights for kernel packages.
Areas of Improvement
He probably needs more experience handling corner and special cases but we can't produce them at will so it'll just take time and practice but I'm confident he'll handle those just fine.

I have reviewed and sponsored a good amount of kernel packages from Cory and they have all been prepared well and with care, anytime there has been anything wrong with them he has always worked with me to understand and fix any problems. I also have a good deal of faith in him as he is now well versed in the cranky tooling and packaging, and is pretty capable of figuring out anything that comes up from here on out 
That all being said I trust Cory with PPU rights and give him my +1.
