My name is Jose Luis Cortes, I am from Medellin city (Colombia), current student the Telecommunications Engineering, im user and advocate of open technologies since met GNU/Linux (Ubuntu) in 2009.

MedellinLibre es un proyecto que busca crear una red inalámbrica comunitaria en la ciudad de Medellín. Nuestro objetivo es convertirnos en una plataforma de comunicaciones que facilite el intercambio de información y estimule la formación académica, la diversidad social y cultural de todas las comunidades y personas que hagan parte del proyecto, permitiendo en lo posible el acceso a nuevas tecnologías, aportando un granito de arena que ayude a disminuir la brecha digital.
