* I'm using Ubuntu since Dapper. I have previous experience with GNU/Linux as server administrator but I decided to be an active member of Ubuntu community because of the amazing people you can find here.  * I'm using Ubuntu since Feisty. Ubuntu was my first (and only) experience with GNU/Linux, I have found out about talking with a friend who works in IT. Please note that my studies are not IT related.

 * I'm an Ubuntu Member since September 2007.  * Since October 07 I'm a moderator in the Argentina Team's subforum and I'm one of the admins of the Argentina's Loco Mailing list

 * I moderate every message in the Argentina Team's subforum in the UbuntuForums. We are the most active LoCo Team forum over there (more than 7000 posts, on average 25 per day), and I need to be sure the CoC and the forum's rules are always observed, I read every post.
Line 26: Line 25:
 * I moderate our irc channel (#ubuntu-ar): we have a little group there all day long. They're really nice people so it's a pleasure to hang there. == What I've done ==

 * I moderate Argentina's Loco Mailing list administrator: I perform the common tasks: reject spam, check that everybody is following the CoC, help users when they have trouble with the mailing list, etc.  * I have been deeply involved in making a better web page for our Loco Team, with updated information, How Tos.
Line 30: Line 29:
 * I also get the messages people send to the contact form in out Loco Team Site: I welcome them, help with their questions, introduce them to our communication's channels, forward their messages to our mailing list and everything I can just to be sure newcomers find the great Argentinean community Ubuntu has to offer. This has an average traffic of 10 emails per day.  * Deeply involved in the organization of the releases party for Hardy and Intrepid, in the intrepid release party I gave a talk about ubuntu, telling the people in what we have been involved, what we are currently doing and what we expect to do. I have also encouraged people to do their releases parties in other places in the country.

 * I'm member of launchpad beta testing team.  * Helping to create a bigger group of users to be involved in the LoCo Team

 * Participation in the last Flisol (Latinamerican install fest), where we went with the LoCo team, we gave out cds, flyers and spread the word to all the people interested in.
