This page records the agenda for the next meeting of the Ubuntu Developer Membership Board.

How to Apply

Before putting yourself on the schedule, read this section in its entirety.

See DeveloperMembershipBoard/ApplicationProcess for full instructions. This section only describes the administrative matter of arranging your application meeting.

To apply for upload permissions:

1. Pick a suitable application meeting slot. It must be at least one week away. The Developer Membership Board will consider a maximum of one applicant per meeting regardless of the type of application, so meeting slots that already have an applicant are not available.

2. Add your name to the agenda below, linking to your application page, and specifying your selected meeting date.
3. Announce your application and selected meeting date by writing an email to the devel-permissions@ list, which includes:
   • - the link to your wiki page application.
   • - the date of your meeting date and a link to the agenda.

Meetings are held Mondays fortnightly on IRC in #ubuntu-meeting on Libera.

every two weeks on Monday alternating between 16:00 UTC and 19:00 UTC list all meetings for the year to avoid needing to update after each mtg

  • sil2100 to better document what we expect applicants to know, at last an initial draft and then pass over to rbasak (will be carried until mentioned)

  • teward follow up to get all application process wiki/docs to explain the process to be able to edit wiki pages, for applicants who don't yet have wiki edit access (carried over)
  • rbasak to start a ML thread to find consensus on whether to allow PPU applications for "core" packages (done)

  • PPU application for s390-tools by Frank Heimes at DMB meeting 2024-09-16 (will also join meeting on 2024-09-02, just in case there is remaining time, if not it's also fine).

  • PPU application for cloud-init by Alberto Contreras at DMB meeting 2024-09-16 (as 2024-09-02 did not happen).

  • SRU Developer application by Matthew Ruffell at DMB meeting 2024-09-30 (due to APAC NZST timezone).

• Ubuntu Core Developer Applications

After the meeting

• Make sure actions were assigned for concluded applications (whether successful or unsuccessful). Necessary actions and their checklists are documented at Actions after a successful application and Actions after an unsuccessful application.

If adding agenda items, please place them as subitems of the appropriate major item above. Please also prefix your entry with a number indicating the order of application.
