Clear message

(aka) Duncan McGreggor

As you've probably figured out, this is my main page on the Ubuntu wiki.

I am the Ubuntu Project Manager (there's only one right now) on the Platform team at Canonical. Previously at Canonical, I worked on the Landscape team for a year and a half as a software engineer focusing on cloud development.

I first heard about Linux in the mid-90s in a DiffEq class while studying Physics at university. I started with Slackware, then moved to RedHat 5.2, and then to SuSE when RedHat changed their licensing. I used Debian after being exposed to the preferences of other Twisted Python developers, and naturally moved to Ubuntu from there. I haven't looked anywhere else for my Linux needs since then Smile :-)
