Contact Applet
- Ensure that at least one contact exists in Evolution which has at least a URL and an Email address (more information is better, though)
- Add the "Address Book Search" applet to the panel if it is not already there
- Type part of the contact's name into the textbox of the Address Search applet
- Verify that the correct information shows up
- Test the functionality of the information box:
- Does the Go button next to the URL open the page in the default web browser?
- Does the Compose Mail Message open a new Evolution mail composer window with the To: field filled in?
Clock Applet: Appointments
- Ensure that there are appointments in the Evolution calendar already
- Add the Clock applet to the panel if it is not already there
- Left-click the Clock applet on the panel
- Dates which have appointments should be bold in the drop-down calendar. Is this the case?
- Click one of the bold dates.
- Check that all of that day's appointments are listed in the Appointments section of the drop-down
- Verify that the right colors are used for each appointment, based on the color assigned to the appointment's calendar.
Clock Applet: Tasks
- Ensure that there are tasks in Evolution already
- Add the Clock applet to the panel if it is not already there
- Left-click the Clock applet on the panel
- Verify that all tasks listed in Evolution's Tasks are also listed in the applet's Tasks list
- Verify that the right colors are used for each task, based on the color assigned to the task's tasklist.
Testing/Applications/EvoIntegration (last edited 2009-06-15 18:10:24 by c-24-21-50-133)
INSTRUCTIONS: Replace the word PACKAGE with the package (or packages) that contains this application. If more than one package is involved, list them.
Replace the word SRC-PACKAGE with the source package from which the installer package comes since bugs are filed against source packages.
If there is more than one package involved in this application, do the following: - Instead of just "Tests", make "myapp" and "myapp-plugins" sections - Separate out as best you can which tests go with which package (ex: myapp and myapp-plugins) - The "Report any bugs you find..." line should be placed under each of those package section headings with the appropriate SRC-PACKAGE string
