The Ubiquity Slideshow for Ubuntu is being worked on over at Launchpad. The infrastructure and design is now reasonably solid, so it is time to commit ourselves to some good content.

This Wiki page is where proposals for written content can be added so we can decide upon one.

Each slide is 700x420 pixels. At present, the stuff that changes with each slide is: a large icon for decoration and context, a title and a large block of body text. That stuff is what we will be working on here. During this phase, slides can be added or removed freely; the content is completely flexible.

The content is in simple point form in the hopes that it will be easily remembered. It mainly focuses on the individual applications present in Ubuntu.

This works pretty well, but it would be interesting to see it focus more on "what you can do with the app" on a personal level. It feels like a feature list right now. This is the content that was used in the project originally, up to revision 64 of lp:ubiquity-slideshow-ubuntu. It was created on a template where each slide had three screenshots of its own, as well, but the content still holds its own on the new template.
