Global Jam 2009

What?

The Ubuntu Global Jam is a collection of events carried out by the global ubuntu community to improve ubuntu. The previous theme limited to bugs has now been broadened to include;

• Bugs - finding, triaging and fixing bugs.
• Testing - testing the new release and reporting your feedback.
• Documentation - writing documentation about how to use Ubuntu and how to join the community.
• Translations - translating Ubuntu and helping to make it available in everyone's local language.
• Other - other types of contribution such as marketing, packaging, advocacy etc.

Arriving from Cardiff Central Station

To get there from Cardiff Central Station turn right as you come out of the station and walk towards the big Hotel Mariott past Cardiff Central Square. Stay on the left hand side of the road on the as you walk towards the Mariott. Cross at the lights near the Mariott but stay on the road opposite and walk down here towards the John Lewis department store. Continue walking down the street and you will come across a seating area underneath some trees where the library entrance will be just after this image here in the bluely designed building. The library entrance is just on the left of this photograph.

Where in the library should I go?

We will be located on the very top floor of the library. If you go up the lift you will have to turn left and walk along the balcony to find us if you are taking the stairs we will be found by turning right 180° and walk along the balcony.
