• Xubuntu Strategy Document passed first reading at Community Council.

• Jim has started getting things moving again.

• Nothing to report.

Packaging, Development, & Testing

• Alpha 3 and 4 released.
• Several packages updated (such as thunar-thumbnails).
• Daniel has made excellent progress on integrating samba browsing and sharing in Thunar.
• Migrated seed ownership from Ubuntu Core Developers to Xubuntu Developers.
• Welcomed NCommander as a new Xubuntu Developer.
• NCommander packaged xfce 4.6 snapshot into Xubuntu Developer PPA.

• Xubuntu Testing is looking for a Team Leader. This is an important part of every release. Please contact Cody Somerville if you are interested.

Website

• Cody will outsource the website redesign to a web development firm.
