Who am I?
I'm an Ubuntu user, currently a second year junior-college student residing in Singapore. I am part of the school team for Cricket and Tchoukball. I like travelling and learning new things. When I am not doing school work or contributing to Ubuntu in any way, I will probably be playing online games like flash games or social games.
My contributions to Ubuntu
Notable contributions
Dedicated and committed Ask Ubuntu user. Some of the answers that I have answered include:
Translator of Ubuntu. Translated a significant amount of strings into Tamil.
Ubuntu blogger. I have blogged about Ubuntu in the community blog site 2buntu.com. Some of the articles I wrote include:
Other contributions
Member of the Ubuntu bug squad, triaging bugs when I come across them.
- Provides support on #ubuntu+1 for people who use the current unstable release.
Have some basic knowledge about Debian packaging. I have set up a PPA for the Ask Ubuntu lens.
I have read and signed the Ubuntu Code of Conduct.
My plans for Ubuntu
My immediate plans are to making 12.04 available in Tamil. The past two releases 11.04 and 11.10 were not available in Tamil and hence, I am giving my best to make sure that at the very least, the LTS version is available in Tamil.
Aside from translating Ubuntu, I also have plans to convert my acquaintances from Windows / Mac to Ubuntu. For that, I have burned a couple of Ubuntu and Lubuntu live CDs for people to try out Ubuntu and eventually to get them to use Ubuntu full time.
I am also involved in the discussion regarding starting a Ubuntu translations team for Indian English locale, which I think will benefit the large Ubuntu community based in India.

You can easily contact me through email. Or, if you prefer transparency in the communication, I am open for contact on Google + and Twitter.

jokerdino is an extraordinary Ask Ubuntu contributor. He has worked exceptionally hard, moreso than most, to clean up the Ask Ubuntu site. He has also provided numerous helpful questions and answers to questions. To quote what Mark Shuttleworth sent in response to my original membership approval, because it applies here: "Thanks for making Ask Ubuntu great". I fully support him becoming an Ubuntu Member. -- Thomas Ward (Launchpad)
