About me
My name is Diego Tejera, actual leader of Ubuntu Loco Team Panama, Systems engineer, software developer, Co-Founder of Rootstack.
My involvement in Ubuntu
I have been using Ubuntu since Dapper Drake (6.06). I met Eivar Montenegro at the beginning of 2008 (just after we worked on the FLISOL of that year), He introduced me to the Ubuntu Loco Team of Panama (not official yet) and I have been an active member on the community since that.
I have been organizing ubuntu related activities in my country such as release parties, activities to spread ubuntu and I give talks about Ubuntu on Free/Libre Software related events.
I usually give ubuntu related support on #ubuntu-es, #floss-pa and Panama's Ubuntu mailing list.

The Panamá team has a great future with Diego at its head. I've know him for some years now, and I'm sure that he will work hard so his community reaches all its objectives. It's going to be great to have another Ubuntu Member in Central America. elopio
I know Diego since a couple of years through free Software events in Central America and through the Drupal community we are both involved. I know him as a responsible and intelligent person, who would be a perfect Ubuntu member. I appreciate him because he DOES things. Go, Diego, go! xamanu ubuntu-ni
