Bug Triaging

Bug triaging means the process of improving a reported bug to the point that it has all the information for developers to start working on it.

SRU Verification

After a bug is fixed and an update has been made for the stable version of Ubuntu, it goes through a process called SRU verification. This process verifies that the updates fix the original bug and do not introduce new regression bugs.
