Call for Testing – Ubuntu Friendly

Coinciding with the up and coming release of Ubuntu 11.10, the Ubuntu Friendly Beta release will arrive it it needs your help to test it.

Ubuntu 11.10 Beta 2 (Oneiric Ocelot) Released.

Ubuntu 11.10 Oneric Ocelot Beta 2 has been released. Some of the changes include updating to the latest unstable Gnome 3 version etc. Beta 2s for the official derivatives including Kubuntu, Edubuntu and Mythbuntu have also been released.

Ubuntu 11.10 Development update

Daniel Holbach updates the community on the Beta 2 release and other Development centered news, he also discusses upcoming events and planning release parties. Listed in his post are items that still need to be accomplished before the final release of 11.10, and introduces a new contributor--Florian Brandes. That's not all he also reminds readers how to get involved, find something to work on and get in touch with various Ubuntu Developers.
