|| Netgear || PS110 || remote lpd + ppd driver for connected printer || ?? || Yes || || Requires initial setup with "arp" command if not already setup on other system. Have tested with Brother HL1440 and works fine. || 12-July-2005 ||
|| Oki || B4250 || .PPD || No || Mostly || || After installing the .PPD file, I just installed it with the CUPS web interface. Works ok. Aparently there is a problem where the printer can block with it's error LED flashing, to sole this you should set the paper tray to "automatic". PPD file can be found here : http://europe.oki.com/binaryData/6683/ok4200pcl.ppd.gz || 31-10-2006 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-2152W || pxlmono || Yes || Yes || || Easy to setup. Duplex printing may or may not work. || 12-Nov-2004 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-1430 || ?? || Yes || Yes || || Easy to setup. Just use the print manager. || 16-Mar-2005 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-1210 || ML-1210 || Yes || Yes || 5.10 (kubuntu) || Works perfectly - use System settings --> Add Printer --> Choose Samsung ML-1210 || 15-May-2006 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-1510 || ML-1510 || Yes || Yes || 4.10, 5.04 and 5.10 || No trouble at all - all auto-detected || 09-Sep-2005 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-1610 || ML-1710 || No || Yes || 5.10, 6.06 || You can download the ML-1610 driver from the Samsung website, it is a universal installer. || 24-Jul-2006 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-1740 || ML-1710 || No || Yes || || The print manager should auto-detect; use the ML-1710 drivers. Seconded -- I have the same experience. It's a good printer. || 27-Mar-2005 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-2010 || gdi || Yes || Sometimes || 5.04, 5.10, 6.06 || Recognized as the ML-200, ML-210, or ML-4500. Works well for some, slow (8ppm) for others. Latest MFG's driver is v 2.xx. Installs easily but must still go to System/Admin/Printers and add ML-2010. Tested fine in Dapper. Original driver from Samsung was horrible || 29-Jul-2006 ||
|| Samsung || [wiki:/SamsungMl2250 ML-2250] || delivered driver || No || Yes || 5.04, 5.10 || At least works with the binary proprietary driver delivered on the driver cd. || 26-Sep-2005 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-4500 || gdi || ?? || Yes || 5.04, 5.10 || Works, though seems buggy (Landscape printing in OpenOffice doesn't work, etc.) Downloaded (Linux-compatiable) driver from Samsung which asks for root password when installed which doesn't seems to work, however printer is detected anyway. || 30-Dec-2005 ||
|| Samsung || Laser ML-1610 || gdi || No || Yes || 5.10, 6.06 || ML-1610 not listed but defaults to ML-1650 but this driver does not work, Select ML-1510 driver and printer then works perfectly with no other settings needed. -- update by JanClaeys: I use the ML-1710 driver which seems to work a little better (it fixed a printing problem I had with the ML-1510 driver). || 2006-04-05 ||
|| Toshiba|| 351C || TOSHIBA_EST451c_CUPS || No || Yes || 5.10 || Copy the PPD file from the Driver CDROM, connect via network via CUPS(IPP) || 16-Mar-2006 ||
