The latest long-term release is 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus).
The first unofficial release, 12.10 (Quantal Quetzal), came in October 2012. The first official release was 13.04 (Raring Ringtail).
The final stable release was 17.04 (Zesty Zapus), but it reached End of Life in January 2018.
